Deathwatch By Robb White Pichers

tart with cream and orange

Oranges at this time give us the beautiful hues. I refer to the Sicilian red oranges, especially the variety that I have used tarot for the tart. Their pulp is with veins ranging from orange to red, and tastes sour and sweet at the same time. A pleasure that I advise you not to be missed!

INGREDIENTS 250 gr flour 00
125 g butter 125 g sugar
1 egg grated rind of lemon
A teaspoon of vanilla extract Pinch of salt
2 oranges
Custard

PROCEDURE
Sift the flour, add the lemon peel and mash the butter and quickly knead with your hands. Add a pinch of salt, sugar and egg to form a dough, let rest in refrigerator at least half an hour. Get with the help of a rolling pin, a base that will settle in a roasting pan, prick the base with a fork and bake at 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Allow to cool and pour over the cream (I used the ready) and the slices of peeled orange to vivo. Dust with icing sugar.
